Hearing Aid Repairs

Since hearing aids go into your ear, it is important that you take care of them properly by cleaning and storing them as instructed. Damages can occur and we will try to fix all problems here in our office. If there is an issue with the hearing aid that we cannot fix here in our office, we will send the hearing aid to either the manufacturer or an all-make repair lab, whichever is appropriate for your hearing aid.

If you purchased your hearing aids from a different facility and need to have them repaired and/or adjusted, we are able to provide the necessary services to assist you.

Hearing aid batteries come in four sizes and each is associated with a color: size 10 – yellow; size 312 – brown; size 13 – orange; size 675 – blue.

Batteries can last from 7-10 days, depending on the size of battery, degree of your hearing loss, and your daily use of hearing aids.

It is important to turn the hearing aid off when not in use to preserve as much of the battery as possible.

Batteries should be stored in the same environment as the hearing aid, one that is dry and cool, like a drawer in your home. Batteries do not need to be stored in the refrigerator.

We also offer a battery club. In our battery club we offer high-quality hearing aid batteries at competitive prices. You can pick your batteries up in either of our two locations, or we can ship the batteries to you at no additional charge.
